MAKE vs. DO

Sometimes “make” and “do” (in Spanish they both mean “hacer”) can be confusing. American English at State has made a list for you of some words that come after “make” and after “do.” For example, you “do your homework” and “make friends.” You “do laundry,” “make a mess,” and “make a mistake.” Practice here and comment on the facebook graphic by making a sentence with one or more of these collocations!
